Marta J. deMaintenon, Ph.D. University of California, Berkeley, Marine invertebrate zoology. Dr. Marta deMaintenon is a marine invertebrate zoologist and evolutionary biologist. Her research focuses on the evolution of marine snails. She has done field research in south Florida and in California, and uses several research techniques including comparative anatomy, morphometric analyses and scanning electron microscopy.
