The UHH R/V Four Winds is the Flag Ship of the UH-Hilo Marine Science Program.  

Donated to UHH by Maui Classic Charters, this 53' catamaran was certified to hold 120 people.  With an upper deck and main deck, along with a large glass bottom observation room, make the Four Winds and excellent teaching platform.  Like most cats, the four winds is stable and roomy!  

• Current Shipboard Equipment:
  Sea-Bird CTD w/YSI O2 sensor, Turner designs SCUBA (florometer)
• 1800 Watt Prosign invert for conditioned power
• 2 windows/pc computers to monitor telemetry, charting and data logging.
